BECCA RODRIGUEZ

Manager

Grandview

"I love working with multi-hyphenate creatives. Whether you’re a screenwriter turned novelist or vice versa, I can help demystify the development process on both ends from start to finish. In addition to the creative and development side, we can walk through business and strategy including how to find a representative, navigating the studio system/market, how to approach general meetings, pitching, and more."

Becca Rodriguez joins Grandview from Curate where she oversaw the book department. Prior to Curate, she worked at The Gotham Group as a book manager. She began her career as an assistant at Anonymous Content across various departments from talent to literary then media rights.

Rodriguez’s roster includes distinctive storytellers such as Philip K. Dick Award nominee Rebekah Bergman, Pushcart Prize nominee Lucie Britsch whose novels are under option and in development, New York Times bestselling author and journalist Maureen Callahan, International Latino Book Award winning author Ann Dávila Cardinal, PEN America /Hemingway Award winning author Oscar Hokeah, USA TODAY Bestselling author Jessica Joyce, PEN/Faulkner Award winning author Deesha Philyaw whose collection of short stories, THE SECRET LIVES OF CHURCH LADIES, she is co-adapting at Max and Viva Maude, Sue Grafton Memorial Award nominee Marcie Rendon, debut novelist Hattie Williams, and Locus Award finalist Hannah Yang.
