"I will share my experience from my decade as a TV writer-producer to help you on your creative, professional, and personal journey. I use my knowledge of writing, pitching, staffing, producing, developing and all other aspects of the TV/film landscape to help you navigate it successfully and effectively -- and as authentically as possible. While I cannot offer detailed feedback on scripts, I do offer artistic support in many ways. I strive to help my mentees put their best foot forward: finding their voice and elevating themselves and their work in the world of television."
Chelsey Lora is a screenwriter who works in TV and film. She was most recently a Co-Executive Producer on FX's AMERICAN SPORTS STORY: GLADIATOR and Disney Plus’ Emmy-winning THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY. Her credits include Hulu’s WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA, Starz’s VIDA, and OWN’s GREENLEAF. She decided to write for television while working as a court administrator on the midnight shift in a Florida county jail -- where she developed a passion for stories exposing the realities of mass incarceration. While living in Florida, she also worked as a bouncer at a bar, a legal secretary, a local newspaper reporter, and a preschool teacher.
