JON RUBINSTEIN

Jon Rubinstein is the CEO of Authentic Talent and Literary Management, and over the past 30 years has represented some of the top actors in the entertainment industry. Jon produced the award-winning film HIGHER GROUND, released in 2011 by Sony Pictures Classics after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival and served as Executive Producer on the 2020 documentary film WHY IS WE AMERICANS?, a cinematic exploration of Newark’s legendary Baraka family.

Jon has long been involved in nonprofit projects around the world, working to provide prenatal care for rural women in southern Haiti, English language instruction to adults in Port-au-Prince, as well as projects working with children and teens in Guatemala, Kolkata, India, and Brooklyn. Jon received his BA from New School University and his MFA from New York University. He lives in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley.
